Last week we meet with the Wave 4 teachers and shared Online Safety and Security. If you did not have an opportunity to attend please check out the agenda on the Wiki. Also we want to encourage you to share what you are doing in your classromm using technology.
It could be a lesson, resource, showcase student work, video, or any activity that you are doing with technology integration. We can learn so much form each other. Let your Instruction Technology Coach know so we can add your school to the School Spotlight.

The new Easiteach Next Generation is coming to your school soon.
Your STC will be able to load your software for you.
We have scheduled Easiteach Next Generation training at the Schultz Center that you can register on the ERO.
Here are the dates we scheduled at the Schultz Center from 3:30-4:30

Microsoft has a sight just for educators. You can find lesson plans, how-tos, get training and find free software you can download and use with your students. All of our teacher laptops and student work stations have Microsoft Office. There are so many activities you can do using this application. Microsoft for Educators also include many templates, clipart, organizational tools, lesson plans to teach tolerance, online safety Web site and much more. Check out Microsoft for Educators and see you and your students can use software that is already on your computer or download software for free.

School Spotlight

Christine Snyder a Fifth Grade teacher at Louis Sheffield is using technology to integrate in the curriculum in many ways. Her students are meeting the NETS*S by creating their class newsletter using from Microsoft Word. Ms. Snyder reviews and posts the Classroom News on their class blog.
